Write.....I know, that seems too simple, but the more you write, the easier it becomes, your writing improves, and you find you spend less times worrying about the nuts and bolts part of the process.

This shall be a commercial blog. Why? Because the path to being a "real" author involves way too many steps, people that don't really care, somebody trying to make money on my ideas, painful waits for recognition, and the pretentious belief someone else is better at judging the merits of my writing than me, or those that happen to visit. If you are a visitor, I appreciate your time. The internet is a huge place, and my piece of it is tiny.

ReplyDelete* Increase the humor (I learned that during a scriptwriter workshop with writer director Joe Carnahan (he could easily have a second career in stand-up).)
* Add more sex (I was discussing this at a writer's workshop with Oregon author KC Geiger, we decided the million-seller title for a writer's improvement book would be 'ADD MORE SEX!'.)
